He has more than 16 years of experience in the nutraceutical, medicinal plant extraction industries and over 24 years of experience in state, federal and international compliance. Mr. Meador has direct experience with Gas Chromatography (GC) analysis. He has developed new and innovative testing protocols for cannabis analyses using a diverse range of methods to investigate the medical spectrum of cannabis and cannabis-infused products. Specifically, he has been responsible for the quantitative analyses of cannabis potency, terpene profiles and residual solvents to properly establish and maintain proper pharmaceutical-grade standards during the manufacturing phase. 

 

Mr. Meador has designed various cannabinoid formulations and delivery methods specific to medical use including, pulmonary, gastro-intestinal, sublingual, oral-buccal and transdermal. Based on these formulations he has filed for a patent involving a unique process formulation that allows for increased efficacy and absorption of the cannabinoids and other water insoluble APIs. 

 

As a cannabinoid scientific researcher he has applied his extensive knowledge in the plant science and medicinal cannabinoid field throughout all phases of manufacture and has designed and built the largest medicinal cannabis genetic database in the world with over 8000 strains currently catalogued. This research continues by devising targeted cannabinoid medications through the study of the structure and function of the CB1 and CB2 receptors and the endocannabinoid system.
